During a typical 6 week session of pottery classes you will create with clay using a variety of pottery techniques. You will learn the art of hand building pottery through completion of several projects using coil, pinch and slab construction. All students will have the opportunity to throw on the pottery wheel and practice weekly. You will apply glaze using brush on and dipped glazes as well as underglazes. Plan on having fun in a relaxed social setting! We supply all the materials.

During this workshop, you will learn the art of coiling clay. Coiling up to the point of your tree top will prove to be an interesting and challenging feat. After you coil your tree, you can add some decorations before glazing. We will slow dry your projects and have them ready for pick up in 2 weeks.
